Our 3 Month Eli

Eli is growing up WAY too fast! I can't even believe it!!! He is already three months and is getting so big!!! Not much is happening in out lives, just enjoying our summer. Alex is working a lot in the lab and I have gone back to work full time. It is so hard to be away from Eli and Alex all day. We are also getting ready for the semester to start up again in September. We are loving the heat but could also use some serious rain. Now we have tons of pictures of Eli because we just love him to pieces.

Alex went on vacation and Eli was not too happy so he slept with Alex's shirt while he was gone and would hold onto it. It was the cutest thing in the entire world. 

HE ROLLED OVER BY HIMSELF!!!! We kind of got a picture of it but we are pretty proud of him!

Two Years and Still Going Strong!

As of today Alex and I have been married for two years!!!! I cannot believe that it has been that long already. Two years ago we were stepping into the temple to be sealed for time and eternity and I could not have chosen a better man to be married to. I just love him way too much. I was looking at our old pictures and reminiscing about our life and it was just way too fun. So I decided that these pictures needed to be shared.

These are our engagement photos which were so much fun to take. This is also when we discovered one of our favorite photographers Tyra Andrews.

And then we got married and what a wonderful day it was. We were surrounded by our friends and our family and was able to make one of the biggest and greatest choice that we have ever made. It was a nice hot sunny day and we could not have asked for anything more. This is where our story and adventures began.

And then we got to our one year anniversary and we were so excited. We celebrated by taking one year anniversary pictures which turned out fantastic. When we hit that year mark we thought that we were so cool and we felt so accomplished. Now that we have been married two years it is even more exciting.

From two years of marriage we have received the greatest gift that we could ever ask for! BABY ELI!!

He has brought so much joy in our lives and we are so lucky to have him, but I am even luckier to have Alex in my life. We have so many great adventures and laugh so much. He makes my life complete and I am so grateful for everything that he does. Happy Anniversary Alex!!!!! Here's to two years and many more to come!

The Best Husband Ever!

This past week has been super crazy. I have gone back to work with a full time schedule and am just exhausted. Alex has been staying home with Eli and is doing such a great job. Eli just loves his dad and I know that he is enjoying spending all this time with him. So yesterday I had to work and it was the longest Sunday that I have ever worked in my life. It was continuously busy and never settled down and it was just crazy. When I left work I was more than excited to get home. When I finally got home it was the best sight ever. Alex had cleaned the entire house, done all the things that I had asked him to do in the past such as change lightbulbs and put the baby monitor on the wall, and he had made a delicious dinner. It was the greatest thing ever. I love Ale so much and am so grateful that he is willing to help me with all that I do. I have to say that I have the best husband in the world!

Another great gift that Alex helps me with is my baby Eli. He is the cutest baby ever and we just love him. He is getting so big and I can't believe that he is almost 3 months old already. I know that I have not put up many pictures of him lately which is the biggest shame ever! Our camera was lost and then Alex found it yesterday. Another reason why he is so amazing. So here is a picture or two of Eli and don't worry, I won't be losing the camera anymore. I hate not being able to get ever moment of his life on camera. 

Heads Up!!!!

Eli hates tummy time. It is his worst enemy. He can stand it for about 10 minutes tops before life starts to get horrible, but we still practice with him anyways. Lately he has been getting better at holding his head up while he is on his tummy. He is growing up way to fast.

This is also Alex's last week of the semester. He has worked so hard. It has been tough with all of the homework that he has and having a baby in the middle of the semester. I am always impressed with this man and so proud of all the work that he does! I just love him to pieces.

I have to sneak pictures of him as often as I can because he never lets me take pictures of him. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday and has a great week!!!

Eli's Best Friend

This past weekend my best friend Emily and her husband Dan and her daughter Audrey came up to visit us! It was a blast. Audrey is about 3 months older than Eli but they seemed to get along just great. They would play with each other and when one would cry then the other felt  the need to cry as well. It was hilarious and a very fun weekend. We love hanging out with them.

Audrey would play with Eli's foot and Eli thought it was so funny to watch her try to catch his foot.

The very first outfit that I bought Eli when I found out I was having a boy was this onesie and it is now just starting to fit him! Yay Eli for growing!

A bit of a milk mouth

Eli's other best friend is his dad. He thinks that Alex is the coolest thing that roams this planet. His eyes light up when he sees Alex and when he can see Alex within his vision, he will make sure to follow him with his eyes. When he can no longer see Alex, he starts to whine. It is the cutest thing in the world.

This video is of Eli. Yeah he is cute, he doesn't do too much but in this video he is practicing his running to keep up with his dad and his touch down move. He is adorable! We love him to pieces.

Eli also found a toy. He liked the paper towel roll and he loved having it on his hand. He would fling it off, then look at it, and put his little pout on his face and whine until I put it back on. I hope that when he is older he will be as entertained by a paper towel roll as he has been, but I have no hope for that.
