Baby Bump and a Clean Baby Room

Well the weeks are just chugging along. We are about 26 weeks pregnant now and time just keeps going. With the help of my amazing husband we were able to clean the baby room and there is a dramatic difference. I am so thankful for all of his help. We can now start moving stuff into the baby room which is super exciting!

Well we are ready to start the decorating process and we could not be more excited!!! This baby just needs to come already it seems like it has been so long. We also have baby bump updates because we haven't had new updates in about 3 weeks. We are 26 weeks along and we have 14 weeks lefts!!! WOW!

The baby bump keeps growing and growing. I can't wait to see our little guy. We have not chosen any names yet because it just seems to be a challenging task. To find something that we both agree on is not as easy as we both had thought. So I think that we are going to wait awhile until we are closer to having the baby. I also have a super sweet husband who has been helping me around the house with different tasks because things just seem to be getting harder as the weeks go on. He is just too cute!

First Baby Room Update

Well we have started cleaning out the baby room. An very interesting task that is for sure. We have done a lot of cleaning even though it doesn't look like it. But there are a lot of things that we have thrown away and just gotten rid of. We are really good at holding on to things. So now it is just time to let things go. We have a lot of big items that we are having trouble putting away somewhere. We have Alex's golf clubs and both of our musical instruments. I know that if we keep working hard that we can make some more work happen this next week. This is the work that we have accomplished so far.

Again, it may not look like a lot of progress but it definitely it. Trust me. Alex and are working hard this week to make sure that we have everything done before we leave for Vegas next week. We have to make sure that all homework is completed, all work is taken care of, and that the house is clean and in order before we leave. We are excited to take this trip to Vegas to see Alex's family. It is always nice to take a small vacation from school, work, and the colder weather of Rexburg.

Food Glorious Food!

One of the challenges that I have had being pregnant is food. Some things sit well, I am hungry at off times, and the cravings have been so odd. Alex is such a patient man for dealing with all of this. Yesterday was a very interesting food adventure if I may say so myself. I woke up and nothing sounded good. Then a couple of hours later all of these different foods sounded delicious and there was no stopping me! I went to the store and the food extravaganza began. We had a plethora of food that will feed us for a good 3 or 4 days.

So these are all of the foods that we ate. We didn't mix them all into one bowl or anything but we ate all of them and they were all very delicious! This pregnancy is definitely one interesting food adventure!

A Crafty Adventure

Well since I am trying to clean up the baby's room, I am also trying to decide how to decorate it. So I visited the wonderful world on Pintrest to see what kind of ideas I would be able to find. I have heard of people talking about these things called printables lately and wanted to see what they are all about. I think that they are so cute and learned that there is a way to make your own. I have experimented with those and have made two of my own so far. I am not sure how much I like them, but they are definitely a work in progress.

So these are two that I have made so far. I need to print them out and see how they look before I finalize them and decide anything for good. I also decided that I wanted to have some art in the baby's room and found this cute idea with crayons on Pintrest. I have a box of 120 crayons (who knows why) and decided to put them to use. I glued them to a canvas and then blow dried them. This is how they turned out.

These are the two different styles that we have made so far. It is hard to control where the colors are going to go but they were so much fun to do. Alex has gotten really into it and wants to try all of these different ideas with the canvases. I think that it will be a lot of fun. Well this is our crafty adventure so far. Project Baby Room

Well we have about 14 weeks left until this baby boy comes! Time flies by so FAST! I can't believe it! We still have so much to prepare for and I am always worried that we will not have enough time to get everything done. So the first baby project that we are starting on is the baby room. We live in a two bedroom apartment and currently use the second bedroom for storage (aka junk). This room is completely messy and just has things laying around everywhere and is in need of a good cleaning. This is some of the evidence of the disaster that we are dealing with.

Needless to say, there is a big task at hand. There is no way that a baby can live in here right now. So this is the project that will be accomplished shortly. There will be a room shortly that a baby can live in. We only have 14 weeks people!!!!!! Let Project Baby Room commence!
